Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

By using Stonkr, you agree to this policy.

What stays on your phone

  • Settings and preferences — theme, haptics, feed filters, notification rules.
  • Watchlist and saved items
  • Optional profile fields (e.g. email) — stays on the device unless you send it to us (e.g. by emailing support).
  • Premium status — from Apple; we only keep what we need on the device for paid features. We never see your card number.
  • Cached feed data
  • Optional local alerts — if you turn them on, for new feed content; you control them in settings.
  • Widgets and Live Activity — if you use them, via Apple’s own mechanisms.

There is no Stonkr login account on our servers for your profile or preferences.

What our server does

We run a Cloudflare Worker that builds one shared trending feed, cached for everyone. It is not built from your on-phone profile. You don’t use a Stonkr username or password for that feed. Traffic between the app and our API uses HTTPS.

Other services

  • Apple — purchases, StoreKit, notifications, widgets, device features; Apple keeps App Store billing records under its rules.
  • GIF provider — GIFs in the feed when available.
  • Optional AI — on the server for short summaries or extras when enabled.
  • Logo lookups — display data for tickers.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the Worker and shared cache.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run in-app ad-tracking products. Basic device logs may exist for quality; they are not for ad profiling.

How long data lasts

  • On your phone — until you delete the app or clear its data.
  • On our side — shared feed and cache only, as needed to run the service.

Children

Stonkr is not aimed at children under 13.
